Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds came to terms Monday night with right-handed pitcher Robert Stephenson, the 27th overall pick in this year's draft. The 18-year-old Stephenson, who played at Alhambra High School in Martinez, California, went 7-2 with a 1.33 ERA in 13 regular season appearances. He also had 132 strikeouts and just 23 walks and 29 hits allowed in 64 innings. Stephenson began this season with back-to-back no-hitters and pitched as fast as 98 mph.

Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Reds pitcher Dontrelle Willis left Sunday's game against San Diego in the third inning with forearm soreness in his left arm. The left-hander labored before he was pulled, giving up four runs in the third inning -- including two on wild pitches with runners on third base. He allowed six hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings.
